Welcome to the 1st Joint International Scientific Conference

The National Museums of Kenya (NMK), in collaboration with the Association of Kenyan Entomologists (AKE), is delighted to announce the inaugural Joint International Scientific Conference scheduled to take place from 3rd to 6th June, 2024, at the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) headquarters in Nairobi. This pioneering event brings together esteemed scientists, researchers and Industry experts from around the world to explore and deliberate on the theme: “Utilization of Biological Resources for Sustainable Development, Nature Conservation, and Climate Resilience’’.

The conference highlight will include Keynote Addresses, Panel Discussions, Oral and Poster Paper Presentations, Workshops and Training Sessions, Exhibitions, Excursions and Networking Opportunities. The conference will be followed by Practical Training Sessions from 6th to 7th June, 2024, to be held at the same venue.

As stewards of our Natural heritage, we recognize the critical role that biological resources play in shaping the path towards sustainable development, fostering nature conservation, and building resilience to the challenges posed by a changing climate.
